Two words: Summer Camp. Two more words: tenth anniversary.

That’s right, 2008 marks the tenth year of David Flower’s Summer Camp, a three-day series of circuit parties in Provincetown that sells out year after year.
Besides the waves of glorious men it brings to town, Summer Camp is a favorite for its outdoor dance parties, manned by master DJs, and surrounded by the calming lull of the Atlantic Ocean.

As is the tradition, the annual Pier Dance will take place on July 4, with DJ Tony Moran steering the sound waves. Moran has a high-energy style that is perfect for a daytime event, blending tribal and house with heavy doses of vocals.
The dance, meanwhile, takes place on Provincetown’s MacMillan Pier, where stunning views of the harbor can be enjoyed as the twilight hour descends.
In the days before the Pier Dance, two other iconic Summer Camp parties will also take place: the Late Night Boat Party and the Sunset Boat Cruise.
DJ Manny Lehman will be in town to tend to take the sound helm the night of the Sunset Cruise, which will take place on July 2 aboard the Provincetown II cruise ship.
The Provincetown II is Boston’s largest party boat, and can accommodate up to 1000 people with its four stories, two dance levels and three bars.
The Late Night Boat Party will also take place on the Provincetown II, with Masterbeat DJ Brett Henrichsen, on July 3. The Late Night party runs late, offering a rare chance to dance beneath the stars until 3 a.m. surrounded by the ocean.
