Cape Air Offers Flights between Boston and Provincetown

Provincetown is all about freedom – freedom from the rest of the world, freedom to be who you are, freedom to spend your time as you’d like. So what better way to start your vacation than by soaring into Provincetown on a Cape Air flight?

Cape Air offers direct flights into Provincetown from Boston’s Logan Airport.
It is the quickest way to get to Provincetown from Boston, taking just under half an hour. And the flight offers breathtaking views of the Cape’s spiral meanderings, impressing visitors from the start with the uniqueness of the Outer Cape landscape and the escape it offers from the rest of the world.
Cape Air flights between Boston and Provincetown occur two to twelve times a day during the summer season – from Memorial Day in the spring to Labor Day in the fall.
The cost is variable, depending on the time of year, but one-way tickets generally range from $75 to $115. Round-trip fares average around $200.
A book of ten one-way tickets is also available for $750.
Once you land in Provincetown, it is easy to find transportation for the short trip into the heart of town.
There is a shuttle from the airport to MacMillan Pier, which runs every twenty minutes during high season, from June to October.
Local taxis are also available, only costing about $5 per rider.
If you wish to rent a car for use during your stay in Provincetown, Enterprise Rent-a-Car is located on-site at the Provincetown Airport. Reservations can be made in advance by calling 1.800.736.8222, or locally at 508.487.0009.
Cape Air began offering service to Provincetown in 1989. Over the years, it has expanded its service to include the Caribbean and other areas. Today it operates a fleet of 50 Cessna 402s, flying up to 850 flights a day and carrying more than 650,000 passengers in a year.
