Celebrations and Satiations

December 26th, 2012

It’s time to kiss 2012 goodbye and celebrate the potential of a brand new year! Here in Provincetown, we celebrate New Year’s like nowhere else!

There are several spots offering up fabulous menus for New Year’s Eve dinner and/or New Year’s Day brunch!

The Crown and Anchor, offers a variety of ways to party. Resident DJ Steve Marsden will be spinning tunes in the Wave Bar Friday and Saturday and at the Paramount for the “Resolution Dance Party” on New Year’s Eve. If you don’t feel like dancing, you can watch someone else doing the dancing and singing, with the Illusions Drag Revue at the Paramount Crown and Anchor at 8 pm on Friday, or tickle your funny bone with the antics of Miss Richfield 1981 and her review entitled “We’ll all be Dead by New Year’s” on Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm, or indulge your musical tastes with the inimitable Suede on Sunday night at 7:30 pm. Prefer to sing along to the classics? Then join the Crown’s own Bobby Wetherbee in the Central House at the Crown on Saturday, Sunday or Monday night at 9 pm for his fun and rousing repertoire!

On Sunday the 30th, your options include a “Recovery Party” complete with party favors at the Shipwreck Lounge from 6 pm to close, or check out VJ Tom Yaz’ “Retro-Active Video Lounge” to close out 2012 in the Wave Bar. At the Dance Club at the A-House, DJ David LaSalle will hold court all weekend!
