Provincetown Restaurants Offer Many Options

February 18th, 2013

When it comes to culture, Provincetown is more than blessed, especially considering its size. There are artists, there are writers, there are musicians and there are actors. But there’s one other group, as important, but often overlooked – they are the chefs.

Make sure to check out Provincetown.com's Dining Map and Listings.

That’s right, no town can boast cultural sophistication without being able to offer the aesthetic epiphany of an exquisite meal. And Provincetown does it, again and again.

Not all of the town’s restaurants are open in the winter, but enough are that you will still struggle to pare your dining desires down to fit the limitations of your visit.

Ciro and Sal’s, a favorite with locals, is open year-round, and promises to please with its Italian menu, romantic atmosphere and history. It’s open on the weekends during the winter months.

The Bistro at Crowne Pointe is also open in the off-season, Wednesday through Saturday. Serving incredible seasonal concoctions, within a setting of simple elegance that befits all special occasions.

In terms of artistry and a truly inimitable dining experience, the Central House is also a sure bet, with wonderful options any time of the year.

Many other restaurants are also open year-round, including The Mews, Napi’s, Lorraine’s, Jimmy’s Hideaway, Fannizi’s, Bayside Betsy’s and others.

As you think about just where you’d like to experience food on your trip to town, look over Provincetown.com’s Dining Listings and Map.

Many of the restaurants listed are open year-round, and they all offer their own specialties. But make sure to check in with them ahead of time and find out their winter hours of operation.
