The Provincetown Public Library is pleased to present the world premiere of Once Upon A Time..., a short film by Jay Critchley, shot on the ice of a winterized Shank Painter Pond. Edited by Critchley and Carol Pugliese, the footage will be shown on a continuous loop in the Marc Jacobs Reading Room as part of the Library's June 27 Fresh Paint art opening event. The film combines music with the artist's ominous personal sound recordings as surprising, transformative tableaus are discovered on the frozen Pond. Wine, hors d'oeuvres, and local music will all help to create an inviting atmosphere for visitors and art enthusiasts alike as we kick off an exciting period of openings in town.
