An artfuly holiday celebration to benefit the Lower Cape Outreach Council. Bring a piece of the Lower Cape back home with you this holiday season. Ornaments made by local artists will be available for purchase with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Lower Cape Outreach Council. Preview the ornaments starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday while enjoying breakfast goodies and drinks. Sales start at Noon. See an ornament by an artist that you must have; bid in the silent auction for the right to choose first, must be present at noon to make your selection.

Picard's expressive paintings depict the landscape of Vermont and the seashore of Cape Cod. Her paintings are inspired by the energy, movement and simple elegance of the way patterns emerge within the landscape and seashore. Her works are large in scale and her objective is to create an atmosphere or sense of place where one will feel a visceral connection to nature, essentially absorbing their surroundings, the alchemy of the paint on the canvas, and how it somehow transforms us into another realm.

Maurine Sutter was awarded artist-in-residency slot backin 2002 to liv and work in one of the historic dune shacks. Dune life continues to attract Sutter long after her shack stay, and she strives to make photographs that capture this portal into another world. This exhibit is called "Provincetown Dunes" where sutter's photographs capture the stark, serene beauy found only at the end of the Cape. Sh uses black and white infrared film to show the moodiness and solitude of the dunes.
