By John Logan directed by Daisy Walker. "There is only one thing I fear in life, my friend... One day the black will swallow the red.” Says artist Mark Rothko to his assistant. Mark Rothko is in his New York studio in 1958, painting a group of murals for the expensive and exclusive Four Seasons restaurant. He gives orders to his assistant, Ken, as he mixes the paints, makes the frames, and paints the canvases. Ken, however, brashly questions Rothko's theories of art and his acceding to work on such a commercial project.

Ben Taylor! One of the most exciting breakout artists we've ever had the pleasure to present returns this summer. If you haven’t yet seen or heard Ben Taylor perform live, you’re in for a real treat. Not only has Ben come up as one of the hottest young singer/songwriters touring today, but he's done it his own way and with his own style, no mean feat for the son of James Taylor and Carly Simon.

From the slide guitar shuffle of “You Can’t Be Told” and heavenly harmonies of traditional spiritual “Trials, Troubles, Tribulations,” to the stark, acoustic “Workin’ Woman Blues” and the uncanny darkness of “Twined and Twisted,” Valerie June effortlessly shifts between eras and genres. She can be haunting and melancholy, singing of loneliness on “Somebody To Love,” or full of warmth and charm, fondly recalling her home on “Tennessee Time.” At one moment seductive in a sensual come-on, fragile and vulnerable the next in a display of naked honesty, June transports you to another world the moment you hear her voice.
