How can you get out for a new adventure, and help people at the same time? Benefit events abound in every community, but in Provincetown we've perfected the art of “fun-raiser”! Whatever interest or favorite activity you enjoy can be found here, and many of them help to raise money for wonderful, hard-working charities! This is only a partial list available at press time, but groups and volunteers and more every year! Come on down and ride your bike, take a run in the country, eat a fabulous meal, see a show, and help the less-fortunate while you're having a ball!

3rd – 6th “Run to the Top” of the Pilgrim Monument, a timed run to the top of the Monument, for firefighters in full turnout gear and for daring civilians as well! Benefits the Cape Cod Firefighters/EMS Cancer Relief Fund.

3rd – Gourmet dining experience and concert by "Well Strung," the sexy, singing string quartet. Crown & Anchor, 247 Commercial Street. To benefit the Soup Kitchen of Provincetown (SKIP).
10th – Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies (PCCS) Homeport Banquet, with dinner, live auction, raffle, entertainment and guest speaker Dr. Robyn Hannigan, Dean of the new School of the Environment at UMass Boston.
25th Provincetown Cares 1st Annual “Diva Dash” Memorial Day Weekend Charity 5k Fun Run/Walk. Prizes for best costume and top fundraisers; benefits Helping our Women and Outer Cape Health Services.

1st – The Provincetown 10K, a mildly challenging road race through center of town, through dunes of National Seashore and ending at Provincetown Art Association and Museum. Proceeds benefit PAAM.
5th – The 23rd Annual Night at the Chef’s Table – Chefs at 50+ of your favorites restaurants from Falmouth to Provincetown create special dinner menus and donate the proceeds from those meals to The Aids Support Group of Cape Cod.
7th – The 14th Annual By the Sea Bike Trek. (Rain Date June 8th). A non-competitive pledge cycling event that takes riders through Provincetown and Truro with 3 choices of routes.Funds raised benefit Helping Our Women.

13th - PAAM Secret Garden Tour, proceeds benefit PAAM exhibitions and educational programs.
20th – Provincetown 5K Road Race to benefit ASGCC
28th – Homemade Boat Race to benefit the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies

2-3 – 34th Annual Pan-Mass. Challenge. This annual bike-a-thon raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. The PMC donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. There are a variety of routes to match any ability, including kids and teens, and they're gearing up to raise $40 million!

6th – 26th Annual Provincetown Harbor Swim for Life & Paddler Flotilla. Come to swim, paddle or just cheer on the participants at this benefit for ASGCC, Helping our Women and SKIP. Soak up the sun watching, volunteering at, or swimming in this 1.4 mile race from Long Point to the Boatlip Resort!
26-28 – Annual Pet Appreciation Weekend offers LOTS of fun events for you and your “best friend”, include a “pet tea dance”, canine games competition and a fundraiser pet parade! All proceeds from events will benefit this local “no-kill” shelter, to support their feeding, medical care and other services to homeless pets!

11th – PAAM Annual Gala, benefits the Museum's programs and operations, and annually recognizes a noted artist for their contributions to the arts community!

15th – Hit the Holidays Cocktail Extravaganza, to benefit the Soup kitchen of Provincetown
28th – 4th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Road Race to benefit PAAM.
